Node - Add Multiple Items

Select the type of Node to add as children of the selected parent Node. The drop-down list displays only the types that are permitted as children of the selected Node based on Grooper's object model hierarchy.

Each name specified in 'Item Names' will result in the creation of a new child item of this type. All created items will be the same type; if you need to create different types, run the command multiple times with different 'Item Type' selections.

Enter one name per line in this multi-line text property. For each name provided, a child item of the selected 'Item Type' will be created under the parent Node.

Basic Format

Simply list each item name on a separate line:

Invoice Number
Invoice Date
Vendor Name
Total Amount

Key-Value Pair Format

You can optionally include descriptions for each item using an equals sign:

Invoice Number=The unique identifier for the invoice
Invoice Date=The date the invoice was issued
Vendor Name
Total Amount=The total dollar amount of the invoice

Items specified with the Name=Description format will have their 'Description' property automatically populated with the provided text.

Validation

• Names must be unique within the parent Node. Duplicate names will be ignored.
• Blank lines or whitespace-only entries will be ignored.
• If a name already exists as a child of the parent Node, it will be skipped.
