Node - Add Multiple Items

Node Command Grooper

Adds multiple child items of a specified type to the selected Node.

Remarks

Overview

Add Multiple Items enables you to create several child Nodes under a parent Node in a single operation. This is particularly useful when setting up a Folder, Project, or other container that requires multiple child items, such as Data Fields, sub-folders, or configuration objects.

Configuration

To use this command:

  1. Select the parent Node where you want to add the children.
  2. Choose the type of child item to create using the 'Item Type' property.
  3. Specify the names for the new items in the 'Item Names' property (one per line).
  4. Optionally, include descriptions using the key-value pair format.

Only item types that are valid children of the selected Node will be available for selection. The command automatically filters out restricted types and items with duplicate names.

Advanced Usage

You can optionally provide descriptions for each item using a key-value pair format:

ItemName1=Description for first item
ItemName2=Description for second item
ItemName3

Items without an equals sign will be created with no description.
