Character Class Filter

The 'Character Set' property defines the group of characters to be counted or measured in the result value.

• The regular expression should match single characters only; longer matches are ignored.
• The expression is case-sensitive unless otherwise specified.

Examples:

• [A-Za-z] — matches all letters (A-Z, a-z)
• [0-9] or \\d — matches numeric digits
• \\p{P} — matches all punctuation characters
• \\w — matches all letters and digits

Use this to define the character group for percentage or count-based filtering.

The 'Percentage Range' property allows you to require that a certain percentage of the value's characters match the 'Character Set'.

• Specify a minimum, maximum, or range (e.g., ≥ 80%).
• If left blank, no percentage requirement is enforced.

Example:
To require that a value is at least 80% numeric, set 'Character Set' to [0-9] and 'Percentage Range' to ≥ 80%.

Use this to enforce overall character composition, such as "mostly digits" or "at least half letters".

The 'Count Range' property allows you to require a minimum or maximum number of characters matching the 'Character Set'.

• Specify a minimum, maximum, or range (e.g., ≤ 2).
• If left blank, no count requirement is enforced.

Example:
To allow no more than 2 letter characters, set 'Character Set' to [A-Z] and 'Count Range' to ≤ 2.

Use this to limit or require a specific number of matching characters, such as "no more than 1 punctuation" or "at least 3 digits".
