Project - Archive Project

Archives a Project by saving a local ZIP archive of the object.

Remarks

Use the 'Archive Project' command to capture a versioned snapshot of the object for change management and rollback purposes.

When executed, this command performs the following actions:

• Creates a ZIP archive of the object using Grooper's internal packaging system.
• Saves the archive as a file on the object itself, allowing future reference or rollback.

When to Use

Use this command when you want to:

• Retain a historical copy of the object.
• Support traceability and auditability of configuration changes.
• Enable basic rollback by preserving prior versions of the object.

File Naming

The archive is saved with a filename in the format Archive_yyyyMMdd_HHmmss.zip, ensuring uniqueness and allowing chronological sorting.
