Copy Base - Create Child Actions

Copy Base Command Grooper.Activities

Generates Data Actions to map child elements between a source and target element using an LLM.

Remarks

The Create Child Actions command uses a large language model (LLM) to generate Data Actions that map, copy, or transform child elements from a source data element to a target data element. This is especially useful for configuring nested or hierarchical data mappings, such as sections or tables with complex child structures.

Purpose

Use this command to automate the creation of child-level mapping logic, reducing manual effort and ensuring consistency when dealing with deeply nested data models.

How It Works

  • The command examines the child elements of both the source and target data elements.
  • It generates Data Actions to copy, map, or transform each child, including handling arrays and nested objects.
  • The resulting actions are added to the 'Actions' collection of the parent Copy Base action for review and editing.

Usage Guidance

  • Use when configuring Copy Base actions that require detailed child element mapping.
  • Optionally provide instructions to the LLM to address specific mapping rules or business logic.
  • Review and adjust the generated child actions to ensure they meet your requirements.
