CMIS Document Link - Save Version

Adds a new version of the linked CMIS Document from the content of the Grooper document.

Remarks

The Save Version command checks out the referenced CMIS Document, applies updates from the Grooper Batch Folder, and checks in a new version in the external repository. This supports versioned document management and ensures that changes in Grooper are tracked as new revisions in the source system.

• Use the 'Check In Comment' property to describe the changes or context for the new version.
• Use 'As Minor Version' to control whether the new revision is a major or minor update.
• Use 'Update Scope' to specify whether to update properties, content, or both.
• This command is essential for workflows that require audit trails, compliance, or collaborative editing.

Supported CMIS Bindings This command is not supported for all CMIS Bindings.Since Save Version relies on document versioning, it can only be used with bindings for systems that support this capability.Currently, the Save Version command is only implemented for:

• AppXtender
• FileBound
• CMIS — support depends on whether the specific CMIS-compliant repository being connected to supports document versioning, since this is Grooper's generic CMIS connector.
