Sort Specification

Grooper Object Grooper.Core

Specifies a sorting rule for ordering Data Instance results.

Remarks

A Sort Specification defines how Data Instance results are sorted by combining a 'Sort Order' (the property to sort by) and a 'Sort Direction' (ascending or descending).

Use multiple Sort Specification objects together to perform multi-level sorting, such as sorting by confidence and then by value.

Usage

  • Configure a list of Sort Specification objects to control the order in which results are presented or processed.
  • Each specification applies one sorting rule; when multiple are provided, they are applied in sequence (first, second, etc.).
  • Common scenarios include sorting by confidence, value, or position to prioritize or group results for downstream activities.

> Tip:
> Use the 'Order By' and 'Direction' properties to fine-tune the output order for your extraction or review workflow.
