Spatial Grounding Field Options

Use 'Instructions' to provide guidance to the LLM on what location should be assigned to the field.

Example 1:

If the invoice number appears multiple times, always select first instance near the top of the document.

Example 2:

Select the full bounds of the signature area.

Enable 'ExcludeFromParent' to prevent this Data Field from affecting the computed bounds of its parent Data Section or Data Table Row.
This is useful for fields that represent metadata, auxiliary values, or elements that should not influence the visual grouping or extent of a section or row.

• Set to true to exclude the field from parent bounds calculations.
• Set to false to include the field in all spatial computations for its parent.

Example:

Exclude a "Comment" field so only key data fields determine the section’s spatial extent.

By default, spatial grounding adjusts AI-generated field coordinates to fit tightly around recognized text. This produces consistent and accurate bounding boxes, rather than relying on raw AI output where coordinates may be imprecise.

When 'UseRawBounds' is enabled, the field’s original spatial coordinates are used instead, bypassing the fine adjustment logic.
Use this, for example, to capture the full bounds of a table cell rather than just the text within it.

• Set to true to use raw bounds.
• Set to false to apply standard spatial adjustments.

By default, empty fields are skipped during spatial grounding.
Enable 'Process If Empty' to force processing of the field regardless of its content, ensuring its spatial location is considered even when no value is present.

Example:

Process an empty "Signature" field to reserve its spatial area in the parent section.

> NOTE: This property is not available for fields inside collections.
