Unattended Task Filter

Task Filter Grooper.Core

Defines a filter for selecting unattended (automated) processing tasks in Grooper.

Remarks

An Unattended Task Filter is used to select Processing Tasks that are executed automatically by the Activity Processing service, without human intervention.

Purpose and Usage

Configuration

  • Set one or more of the following properties to narrow the selection of automated tasks:
    • 'Queue Name': Restrict to a specific Processing Queue for server or thread pool assignment.
    • 'Process Name': Limit to tasks from a particular Batch Process.
    • 'Step Name': Select tasks for a specific Batch Process Step.
    • 'Activity Type Name': Filter by the type of Code Activity being performed.
    • 'Batch': Target tasks for a single Batch.
  • Leaving properties blank will broaden the filter to include more tasks.

Integration

  • Unattended Task Filters are used by Grooper's Activity Processing services to manage and distribute automated work.
  • They ensure that only appropriate unattended tasks are available for processing by the system.

For more information, see the documentation for Processing Task, Processing Queue, Batch Process, and Code Activity.
