The 'Maximum Border Inset' property defines how far from each edge the command will search for a border. Increase this value to detect wider borders, or decrease it to restrict detection to narrow edge regions.

Specify the value using unit-aware strings (e.g., 10pt, 0.25in).

> Example: To detect borders up to 20 pixels wide, set this property to 20px.

The 'Border Region Size' property controls the thickness of the area along each edge that will be considered for border detection and removal. This can be set independently for each side using unit-aware values (e.g., 0.25in, 0.75in).

Adjust this property to match the typical border size in your images. Setting a larger value may remove more of the edge, while a smaller value will restrict processing to a narrower band.

> Example: To process a 0.5 inch border on the left/right and a 1 inch border on the top/bottom, > set this property to 0.5in, 1in.

When set to true, Auto Border Invert will process any detected borders, even if they are not present on all four sides of the image. When set to false, a border must be detected on all four edges for processing to occur.

Enable this option if your images may have missing or incomplete borders, or if you want to process partial border artifacts.

The 'Minimum Border Weight' property controls how solid a border must be to be detected. A value of 1.0 (100%) requires a perfectly solid border, while lower values allow for increasing imperfection.

Adjust this property to match the quality of your scanned images. Lower the value if borders are faint or broken; increase it to avoid detecting noise as a border.

The 'Minimum Border Thickness' property defines the thinnest line or artifact that will be considered a border. Use this to avoid detecting very thin lines or noise as borders.

The 'Binarization' property allows you to specify the method and parameters used to convert the image to black and white for the purposes of border detection and artifact removal. This is important for images with variable lighting or background noise.

Choose a binarization method that best separates the document content from the background and border. Use diagnostic output to review the effect of your binarization settings.

The 'Maximum Fill Weight' property defines the largest white region (in pixel area) that will be filled during preprocessing. This is used to fill small white specks or holes inside inverted border regions, ensuring a solid result.

Specify the value using a unit-aware string (e.g., 14pt). An empty or zero value disables this feature.

> Example: To fill white blobs up to the size of a 10x10 pixel square, set this property to > 10px.

Use the "Filled" diagnostic image to review the effect of this setting.

The 'Corner Artifact Limit' property defines the largest artifact (in pixel area) in the corners of the image that will be removed during post-processing. This helps clean up rounded or irregular artifacts left behind after border removal.

Specify the value using a unit-aware string (e.g., 0.75in). An empty or zero value disables this feature.

The 'Edge Cleanup Radius' property defines the maximum width or height of artifacts along the edge of the border that will be removed. Increase this value to remove larger edge artifacts, or decrease it to restrict removal to smaller defects.

The 'Border Adjust' property allows you to fine-tune the detected border region by expanding or contracting it on each side. Positive values increase the thickness of the detected border, while negative values decrease it.

Specify the value using unit-aware strings (e.g., 2px, -1pt).

The 'Command Type Name' property shows the user-friendly name of the IP Command as it appears in the Grooper UI. This helps users identify which command is being configured or executed, especially when working with IP Profiles containing multiple commands.

This property is read-only and is automatically set based on the command's type.

The 'Supported Pixel Formats' property lists the image pixel formats that the IP Command can process. If an image does not match one of these formats, the command will be skipped for that image.

• By default, all pixel formats are supported unless a derived command restricts this list.
• Example formats include Pixel8bppGrayscale, Pixel24bppBgr, and Pixel1bppIndexed.
