Clear Item

Select the Data Element (field, section, or table) whose value should be removed by this action.

• Use the drop-down editor to browse and select the desired element from the data model.
• The selected element may be a single field, a section, or a table. For containers, all child values will be cleared.
• If the element is not configured, the action will have no effect.

Example:

• To clear the "Invoice Number" field, select the corresponding Data Field in the 'Element' property.
• To clear all rows in a "Line Items" table, select the Data Table element.

> Tip: Use this property in combination with rule triggers to conditionally clear values based on business logic.

• If set, this value will be shown in UIs and logs instead of the default action type name.
• Useful for providing a user-friendly or context-specific label for the action.

Example:
DisplayName = "Normalize Phone Number"
