Section Instance - Rubberband

Captures a new record by rubberbanding a region on the document image.

Remarks

The Rubberband command allows users to select a region on the document image to capture a new Section Instance.

Purpose and Functionality

• Enables manual extraction of data by drawing a selection box (rubberband) on the document.
• Creates a new section instance from the selected region and runs extraction logic.
• Can be triggered using F4.

How to Use

• Click the Rubberband button or use the shortcut.
• Draw a box around the desired region on the document image.
• The selected data is extracted and added as a new section instance.

Example

> Use Rubberband to capture a new claim entry from a scanned form by selecting the relevant area.
