Section Instance - Merge With Previous

Merges the current record with the previous one.

Remarks

The Merge With Previous command combines the selected record with the one immediately before it, creating a single merged record.

Purpose and Functionality

• Use Alt + P to merge the current record with the previous.
• The merged record combines the data from both records.
• Extraction is re-run to update the merged record's fields.
• The original records are removed, and the merged record is inserted in their place.

How to Use

• Right-click a record and select "Merge With Previous", or use the keyboard shortcut.
• The merged record appears in place of the originals and can be edited as needed.

Example

> Use Merge With Previous to combine two line items that were split incorrectly during extraction.
