Section Instance - Insert Record

Inserts a new record before the current one.

Remarks

The Insert Record command creates a new, blank record immediately before the selected record in the collection.

Purpose and Functionality

• Use Ctrl + Shift + Insert to insert a record before the current one.
• The new record is initialized and ready for data entry.
• The collection is re-validated after insertion to update error indicators.

Interactive Components

• Available in the context menu for each record.
• Can be triggered by keyboard shortcut or mouse.

How to Use

• Right-click a record and select "Insert Record", or use the keyboard shortcut.
• The new record appears before the selected record and can be edited immediately.
