Section Instance Collection - Append Record

Appends a new record to the end of the collection.

Remarks

The Append Record command adds a new, blank record to the end of the current Section Instance Collection.

Purpose and Functionality

• Use Ctrl + Insert to quickly add a new record.
• The new record is initialized and ready for data entry.
• After appending, the collection is re-validated to update error indicators.

How to Use

• Right-click the collection and select "Append Record", or use the keyboard shortcut.
• The new record appears at the end of the collection and can be edited immediately.

Example

> Use Append Record to add a new line item to an invoice or a new claim to an EOB.
