Training Page

Node Grooper.Core

Represents an individual page used to train a Page Type, storing features and data from a training sample.

Remarks

Overview

A Training Page is created automatically during training operations (such as Train As or Train From) and is not managed directly by designers.

  • Each Training Page captures the features, image, and data for a specific page in a training sample.
  • Training Pages are associated with a Page Type and reference the Batch Folder and page index from which they were created.
  • The extracted features and data are used by the classification engine to recognize and classify similar pages in production documents.

Links to the Training Set Batch

  • The training set batch is a special Batch object managed by the Content Model that stores all training samples for the model.
  • When a Batch Folder or set of pages is added as a training sample (using commands like Train As or Train From), a corresponding Training Page is created for each page in the sample.
  • Each Training Page maintains a reference to its source Batch Folder (the document in the training set batch) and the page index within that folder.
  • Retraining or rebuilding the model uses the current set of documents in the training set batch, and Training Pages are regenerated as needed.

Lifecycle and Management

  • Training Pages are generated as children of a Page Type when a Form Type is trained.
  • They are removed when training data is purged using the Purge Training command.
  • The set of Training Pages for a Page Type reflects the diversity of real-world page samples provided during training.

Related Concepts

Training Pages are essential for accurate page-level classification and extraction, ensuring that the system can recognize and process each page according to its intended structure and content.
