View or edit advanced details about a node.

The Advanced tab provides a detailed interface for inspecting and managing advanced properties, references, and files associated with a node in Grooper. This tab is intended for users who need to perform in-depth configuration, troubleshooting, or maintenance tasks beyond standard property editing.

Layout and Interactive Components

The interface includes several panels and controls:

• Node Information Panel:
  • Displays advanced node properties and metadata in a property grid, allowing for direct editing of certain fields.
• File List:
  • Shows all files attached to the node, with options to open, download, or delete files.
• Inbound References:
  • Lists all nodes that reference the current node, providing insight into dependencies and relationships.
• Outbound References:
  • Lists all nodes referenced by the current node, helping users understand the node's connections within the repository.
• Toolbar Actions:
  • Includes buttons for unlocking the node, saving or discarding changes, managing files, and reassigning references.

The Advanced tab is especially useful for resolving issues such as locked nodes, managing file attachments, and auditing reference relationships. It provides tools for both corrective actions and advanced configuration.

Usage Notes

• Use the Node Information panel to view and edit advanced node properties.
• Manage attached files using the File List and associated action buttons.
• Review inbound and outbound references to understand node relationships.
• Use the {unlock} button to clear a locked state if the node becomes inaccessible.
• The {reassign} button allows you to update references to or from the node as needed.

Command Buttons

Button	Shortcut Key		Summary
lock_open unlock		►	Unlock this node. The {unlock} button clears a locked state on the node, which can occur due to errors or interrupted operations. Use this command if you encounter "unable to lock node" errors when modifying the node or its children. Restores normal operation by removing the lock.
save save		►	Save changes to the Node Information. The {save} button commits any edits made in the Node Information property grid. Becomes enabled when there are unsaved changes. Click to apply all modifications and update the node's advanced properties.
cancel cancel		►	Discard changes to the Node Information. The {cancel} button reverts any unsaved edits in the Node Information property grid, restoring the last saved values. Becomes enabled when there are pending changes. Click to discard all modifications and reset the grid to its previous state.
delete delete	Del	►	Delete the selected file. The {delete} button removes the selected file from the node's file list. Use this to permanently delete file attachments. Shortcut: Delete
launch launch	Enter	►	Open the selected file in a browser window. The {launch} button opens the selected file in a new browser window for viewing. Shortcut: Enter
download download		►	Download the selected file. The {download} button allows you to save the selected file from the node's file list to your local machine.
swap_calls reassign		►	Reassign references. The {reassign} button enables you to update or transfer references to or from the current node. Use this to manage dependencies and relationships between nodes as needed.

Child Controls

Node Information	Property Grid	►	Displays advanced Node Information and allows editing of certain properties. The 'NodeInformation' control presents a property grid with advanced details and metadata for the current node. Use this grid to inspect and update specialized node properties not available in the general properties tab. Supports direct editing of fields relevant to advanced configuration and troubleshooting. Changes can be saved or discarded using the {save} and {cancel} buttons.
File List	Reflection List	►	Displays a list of files attached to the node. The 'FileList' control shows all files associated with the current node. Use this list to browse, open, download, or delete attached files. Supports all available list options for file management. File actions are available via the {delete}, {launch}, and {download} buttons.
Inbound References	Reflection List	►	A list of nodes which reference this node. The 'InboundReferences' control displays all nodes that reference the current node. Use this list to audit dependencies and understand which nodes rely on the current node. Each entry includes the referencing node's ID for easy identification.
Outbound References	Reflection List	►	A list of nodes referenced by this node. The 'OutboundReferences' control displays all nodes that the current node references. Use this list to review and manage the node's outbound dependencies. Each entry includes the referenced node's ID for clarity.
