Batches Folder

Represents a container for organizing Batches within the Grooper repository tree.

Remarks

A Batches Folder is a logical grouping used to organize, display, and manage collections of Batch objects under the 'Batches' root node in Grooper.

• Batches Folders appear as subfolders beneath the main 'Batches' node (such as "Production" or "Test") and can be used to further categorize batches by project, workflow, or other criteria.
• These folders do not have configurable properties or participate directly in batch processing. Their primary function is to provide a user interface in the Design Page for collectively viewing and managing the batches they contain.
• Batches Folders help users keep large repositories organized, making it easier to locate, filter, and work with related batches.

Design Tab and Batch Management in GrooperReview

When a Batches Folder is selected in on the Design Page, the Folder - Batches tab appears in the UI. This tab provides a comprehensive batch management interface:

• The Design tab leverages the Batch Manager control to display a list of batches within the folder, along with batch details and management actions.
• Users can create, start, pause, resume, reset, update, and delete batches directly from this interface.
• The batch list supports filtering, paging, and searching, and adapts to user permissions and context.
• Toolbar and context menu commands are available for common batch operations.
• This management interface is a key feature for collective batch administration, even though Batches Folders themselves have no configurable properties.
