Remarks

The Node - General tab provides a straightforward interface for viewing and editing the properties of any node within Grooper. This tab is commonly used to inspect and update metadata, configuration, and other attributes associated with the selected node.

Layout and Interactive Components

The interface consists of:

• Properties Panel:
  • Displays a property grid for the selected node, allowing users to view and modify its properties.
  • Supports inline editing for quick updates to node attributes.
• Toolbar Actions:
  • {save} and {cancel} buttons are provided to commit or discard changes made in the property grid.
  • The {save} button applies all modifications, while the {cancel} button reverts to the last saved state.

This tab is available for all node types, providing a consistent experience for property management across the Grooper platform.

Usage Notes

• Use this tab to review and update node properties as needed.
• Click {save} to apply changes or {cancel} to discard unsaved edits.
• The property grid adapts to the selected node, showing all relevant fields and options.

Command Buttons

Button	Shortcut Key		Summary
save save		►	Save changes. The {save} button commits any edits made in the property grid to the node. Becomes enabled when there are unsaved changes. Click to apply all modifications and update the node's properties.
cancel cancel		►	Discard changes. The {cancel} button reverts any unsaved edits in the property grid, restoring the last saved values. Becomes enabled when there are pending changes. Click to discard all modifications and reset the grid to its previous state.
