Control Sheet

• Use to label or identify the control sheet for operators or downstream processes.
• The name appears prominently when the control sheet is generated and printed.
• Leave blank for no custom label.

• Enable this property to trigger document separation and start a new folder in the batch.
• Use in conjunction with 'Folder Level' and 'Content Type' to control the structure and classification of new folders.
• Commonly used to separate documents or group pages during scanning.

• Only relevant when 'Create Folder' is enabled.
• Set to 1 for top-level folders, or a higher value for nested folders.
• Controls the nesting depth of folders created by this control sheet.

• Only relevant when 'Create Folder' is enabled.
• Assigns a specific Content Type to the new Batch Folder, enabling classification and downstream processing.
• Select from available content types in your repository.

Can be one of the following types:

• Use to dynamically change the scanner's feed orientation (e.g., face up, face down) at the point where this control sheet is detected.
• Helps ensure correct page order and orientation in mixed batches.
• Leave unset to retain the current feed orientation.

Can be one of the following types:

• When enabled, Grooper will automatically detect whether each page should be processed in color or black & white.
• Useful for mixed batches containing both color and monochrome documents.
• Leave unset to retain the current color detection setting.

Can be one of the following values:

• Use to override the default color format for scanned images (e.g., force color, grayscale, or black & white).
• Works in conjunction with ScanOnce™ features for dynamic image processing.
• Leave as None to use the current or inherited setting.

• Applies when converting color or grayscale images to black & white.
• Adjust to optimize the appearance of binary images for OCR or data extraction.
• Value range: 0 (darkest) to 255 (lightest).

• Adjusts the brightness of scanned images before further processing.
• Value range: -100 (darker) to 100 (brighter).
• Use to compensate for under- or over-exposed originals.

• Adjusts the contrast of scanned images before further processing.
• Value range: -100 (less contrast) to 100 (more contrast).
• Use to improve legibility or prepare images for OCR.

• Enter one label per line (maximum 8).
• Each label creates a blank line on the printed control sheet for notes, barcodes, or other manual entries.
• Handwritten values can be captured and processed downstream if needed.

• Useful for tracking when control sheets were generated or used.
• The date appears in the footer or designated area of the printed sheet.

• Use when the settings on the control sheet should apply only to the page immediately following it.
• Eliminates the need for a second control sheet to revert settings after a single page.
• Commonly used for exception handling or special-case pages.

• Helps keep batches free of unnecessary pages after control actions are applied.
• If the Separation Profile property 'Delete All Control Sheets' is enabled, it will override this setting.
• Use to automate cleanup and reduce manual review workload.
