Text Region

Dynamic Region Grooper.Extract

Defines a region based on the location of a text element.

Remarks

Defines a region (zone) that is dynamically positioned based on the location of a text value found in the document.

Text regions are ideal for extracting data from areas that are located relative to specific keywords, labels, or other text elements that may appear in different positions on each page.

The region is defined by its relationship to the found text, and can be further adjusted using the properties inherited from Dynamic Region.

Usage Guidance

  • Use text regions when the area to extract is always in the same position relative to a specific text value, but the text may appear in different locations on each page.
  • Configure the 'Text Extractor' property to specify how the target text is found, using a Value Extractor.
  • Use the inherited properties (such as 'Anchor Point', 'Size', and 'Translation') to control the region's placement and size relative to the found text.
  • For fixed or anchored regions, consider using Fixed Region or Relative Region instead.
