CMIS Import

Import Definition Grooper.CMIS

Defines an import mapping between a CMIS Content Type and a Grooper Content Type.

Remarks

A CMIS Import Definition is a configuration stored on an Import Behavior, which defines how objects of a specific CMIS content type are imported into Grooper as Batch Folders and mapped to a Content Type.

Configuration and Usage

  • Select a CMIS Repository and a CMIS content type to define the source for import.
  • Optionally specify secondary types to be applied to imported objects.
  • Configure property mappings to control how CMIS properties are read into Grooper fields and how Grooper fields are written back to CMIS properties.

Key Behaviors

  • Supports mapping of both primary and secondary CMIS content types.
  • Allows fine-grained control over which properties are imported and how they are mapped.
  • Enables updating of CMIS properties after import using write mappings.

Usage Scenarios

  • Importing documents or folders from a CMIS Repository with precise control over type and property mapping.
  • Supporting advanced scenarios where secondary types or custom property mappings are required.

> Typically, CMIS Import definitions are managed within an Import Behavior on a Content Type.
