Review Queue

Work Queue Grooper.Core

Defines a queue for human-performed tasks.

Remarks

Overview

A Review Queue is used to distribute review tasks to different groups of users. Review Queues control which users or groups are allowed to perform manual review work within Grooper.

Review Queues are typically referenced by Batch Process Steps or other workflow components that require human intervention, such as data verification, exception handling, or quality control.

Usage

  • Assign users or groups to the 'Performers' property to restrict who can access and complete work in this queue.
  • If no performers are specified, all users are allowed to perform work in the queue.
  • Use multiple Review Queues to segment work by department, role, or process stage.

Best Practices

  • Use descriptive names for each Review Queue to clarify its purpose.
  • Regularly review and update the 'Performers' list to ensure only authorized users have access.
