Extract From

SourceField specifies the Data Field whose value will be used as input for the extraction operation.

• The configured 'Extractor' will run against the value of this field.
• The result is used to populate the .

Tip:
Choose a field that contains the raw or composite value you want to parse or split.

TargetField specifies the Data Field that will receive the output of the extraction operation.

• The value produced by the 'Extractor' is assigned to this field.
• If 'PreventOverwrite' is enabled and the target already has a value, the action will not execute.

Tip:
Choose a field that is intended to store the parsed or derived value.

Can be one of the following types:

Extractor defines the Value Extractor logic used to parse or transform the value of the 'SourceField'/>.

• The extractor can be a pattern match, regular expression, or other supported extraction method.
• The result(s) are assigned to the 'Target Field'.

Tip:
Configure the extractor to match the specific data you want to extract from the source field.

• When true, the action will skip execution if the target field is not blank.
• When false, the target field will be overwritten with the extracted value.

Use this option to prevent overwriting user-entered or previously extracted values.

• When true, the target field will retain its existing value if the extractor finds no results.
• When false, the target field will be cleared if the extractor produces no hits.

Use this option to avoid clearing values when extraction fails or is not applicable.

• If set, this value will be shown in UIs and logs instead of the default action type name.
• Useful for providing a user-friendly or context-specific label for the action.
