Folder Level Info

The 'Folder Level' property specifies which level of the source folder hierarchy will be mapped to a Batch Folder in Grooper.

• Level 0 typically represents the root of the import source.
• Higher values correspond to deeper subfolders.

For example, if your source path is \\Share\\Invoices\\2024\\March\\Invoice123.pdf, setting 'Folder Level' to 2 would map the 2024 folder as a Batch Folder.

Use this property to control how much of the source folder structure is preserved in the batch, and to organize imported documents according to business needs.

The 'Content Type' property determines which Content Type will be assigned to Batch Folders created at the specified folder level.

Assigning a Content Type enables classification, data extraction, and workflow behaviors for folders at this level. For example, you might assign a "Year Folder" type to year-level folders, or a "Document" type to the deepest level containing actual documents.

• Select a Content Type that matches the role or structure of folders at this level.
• If left blank, folders will be unclassified and may not participate fully in downstream processing.
