Folder Level Info

Embedded Object Grooper.Core

Defines how a specific folder level in the source data is mapped to a subfolder within the Grooper batch.

Remarks

The Folder Level Info class is used within Batch Creation Settings to control how the folder structure of imported content is translated into the batch hierarchy.

Each Folder Level Info entry specifies a source folder level and the Content Type to assign to the resulting Batch Folder. This enables you to preserve or flatten source folder structures as needed, and to assign appropriate classification to each level of the batch.

How It Works

  • For each imported item, Grooper examines the source folder path.
  • For each configured Folder Level Info, a corresponding Batch Folder is created at the specified level.
  • The assigned Content Type determines the classification and data model for folders at that level.

Use multiple Folder Level Info entries to build complex, multi-level batch structures that mirror or adapt the organization of your source content.

This class is typically not configured directly, but through the 'Folder Levels' property of Batch Creation Settings.
