OCR Profile - Tester

Test the OCR Profile and view diagnostics from the OCR process.

Remarks

The OCR Profile - Tester tab provides an interactive environment for evaluating the performance and configuration of an OCR Profile within Grooper. This tab allows users to run recognition tests, review results, and analyze diagnostic information for documents or nodes using the selected OCR Profile.

Layout and Interactive Components

The control hosts the Recognition Tester as its primary interface, offering a comprehensive workspace for OCR testing:

• Test Source Panel:
  • Select the document or node to be tested with the current OCR Profile.
  • Access action buttons to initiate tests and view diagnostics.
• Document Viewer:
  • Preview the selected document for visual comparison with OCR results.
• OCR Viewer:
  • Review recognized character data in multiple synchronized views, including layout, text, and character-level details.
• Split Panel Layout:
  • Organizes the test source, document viewer, and OCR viewer for efficient side-by-side analysis.

All interactive features, including synchronized scrolling, zooming, and dynamic updates, are provided by the embedded Recognition Tester.

Usage Notes

• Use this tab to validate and refine OCR Profile settings by running tests on sample documents.

• All testing and analysis features are provided through the integrated Recognition Tester control.
