The Data Viewer provides an interactive interface for reviewing, validating, and editing data extracted from documents within a batch on Grooper's Review Page.
It is designed to streamline the process of data quality assurance, enabling users to efficiently navigate between documents, inspect extracted values, and make corrections as needed.

  • Appears as a tab on the Review Page when a Data View is included in the Review configuration.
  • Presents extracted data in a structured grid format, supporting both hierarchical and tabular review modes.
  • Enables navigation between documents, validation of data, and correction of errors before batch completion.

Main Components

  • Page Navigator: Allows users to move through the sequence of documents in the batch, making it easy to review each document's data.
  • Data Grid: Displays the extracted data for the currently selected document, including fields, tables, and sections as defined by the Data Model. Supports direct editing, validation feedback, and keyboard navigation.
  • Toolbar Buttons: Includes controls for moving up or down document levels, saving changes, and discarding edits.

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Alt + F12: Save the current document.
  • Ctrl + F8: Navigate to the next document with errors.

Usage Workflow

  1. Open a batch in the Review activity.
  2. Select the Data Viewer tab to access data review controls.
  3. Use the Page Navigator to move between documents.
  4. Review and edit extracted data in the Data Grid. Validation errors are highlighted for quick identification.
  5. Use toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts to save or discard changes, and to move between document levels.
  6. Continue until all documents are reviewed and data is validated.

  • The Data Viewer is integrated with Grooper's data extraction and validation workflows.
  • It leverages the configured Data Model for each Document Type, presenting all relevant fields, tables, and sections for review.
