Remarks

These editors are used on properties of type Node or list of Node. They facilitate selection of Nodes from the Grooper tree structure when setting the value of properties which reference Nodes.

All of the editors in this family ultimately use a Tree Viewer to select nodes. The Tree Viewer will have one or more roots, exposing different locations in the repository where Nodes may be selected from. The actual roots exposed depend on the derived implementation.

For example, when configuring an object inside a Project, the root of the current Project will appear as a root. If the Project references other Projects, those will show up as roots also. If working inside a Content Model, one root will be exposed for each Local Resources Folder, all the way up to the Content Model. If configuring a Data Field, the Data Field itself will show up as a root, because Data Fields serve as a container for reources used in configuring the field.
