CurveType

Grooper.IP

Specifies the curve shape used to apply brightness and contrast adjustments.

Remarks

The CurveType enumeration determines how pixel values are remapped when adjusting brightness and contrast in Brightness Contrast. The choice of curve type affects the visual result and which properties are active.

  • Use 'ThreePoint' for smooth, natural adjustments with emphasis on mid-tones.
  • Use 'FivePoint' (default) for a balanced effect across the tonal range.
  • Use 'SevenPoint' for high-contrast or stylized results, with more aggressive mapping of dark and light pixels.
  • Use 'Linear' for direct, proportional changes matching CSS filter behavior.

> Tip: Choose a curve type based on the desired look and the characteristics of your images.
