PDF Document - Burst

Can be one of the following types:

Determines how the PDF is divided:

• FixedPageCount: Splits into documents with a fixed number of pages.
• Bookmarks: Splits at bookmark levels.
• TagBased: Splits using regular expressions on page text.
• PagePiece: Splits at pages with specific PieceInfo dictionaries.

Choose the method that matches your document structure and separation requirements.

Example:
Use FixedPageCount to split a 100-page PDF into 10 documents of 10 pages each.

Can be one of the following values:

Controls the level and type of compression applied to each new PDF created during the burst operation.

• Higher compression (e.g., BestCompression) reduces file size but may increase processing time.
• Lower compression (e.g., BestSpeed) is faster but results in larger files.

Example:
Use BestCompression for archival, BestSpeed for rapid downstream processing.

Assigns a specific Content Type to each child document created by the burst operation.

• Set this property to ensure that each new document is classified correctly for downstream processing, extraction, or export.
• If not set, the default content type may be used.

Example:
Assign a custom Document Type to all invoices split from a batch PDF.
