Batch Object - Add Folder

Can be one of the following values:

The Position property determines whether the new folder is added at the beginning or end of the selected folder's children.

• Set to Append to add the folder at the end of the child list.
• Set to Prepend to add the folder at the beginning.

Choose the position that best fits your batch organization or workflow requirements.

The Content Type property determines the classification and data model for the new folder. Select a value that matches the type of documents or content the folder will contain.

• The content type controls which data fields, extraction rules, and behaviors are applied to the folder and its descendants.
• Choose a content type that aligns with your document processing or organizational needs.

For example, select a "Document" content type for folders representing individual documents, or a "Folder" type for organizational containers.

The Name property sets the display name for the new folder in the batch tree. Use a descriptive name to help identify the folder's contents or purpose.

• The name appears in the UI and is used for navigation, selection, and reporting.
• Choose a name that clearly communicates the folder's role, such as Invoices, Supporting Documents, or Scanned Pages.

The Description property provides additional information about the folder's contents or intended use. This value is optional and is shown in the folder's properties panel.

• Use the description to clarify the folder's purpose, special handling instructions, or any other relevant details.
• This can be helpful for reviewers, operators, or automated processes that need context about the folder.
