Content Type Detected

Separation Event Grooper.Capture

Triggers document separation when a page 1 of a specific Content Type is detected.

The Content Type Detected event is used to create new documents or folders in a batch when the first page of a document is confidently classified as a specific Content Type. This enables separation based on document classification, supporting complex, model-driven workflows.

Remarks

Overview

The Content Type Detected event is part of event-based separation in Grooper. It allows you to split documents automatically by classifying the first page of each document using a Content Model and triggering separation when a match is found.

  • Use this event to separate documents by type, such as invoices, contracts, or forms, based on their content.
  • Classification is performed using the selected Content Model or Content Category and a minimum confidence threshold.

Configuration

  1. Set the 'Classification Scope' property to the Content Model or Content Category containing the document types to be used for separation.
  2. Set the 'Trigger Type' property to the specific Content Type that should trigger separation.
  3. Adjust the 'Minimum Confidence' property to control how certain the classification must be to trigger the event.
