Label Set Editor

Control GrooperReview.Pages.Design

A user interface for editing the Label Set associated with a Document Type.

Remarks

The Label Set Editor provides a visual, interactive workspace for reviewing and editing the Label Set for a Document Type. This control is designed for solution designers and administrators who need to map document text labels to Data Elements for extraction and classification. It supports both rapid onboarding of new document types and ongoing maintenance of label definitions.

Purpose

Use this editor to view, add, modify, or remove labels for each Data Element in the Data Model of a Document Type. The editor enables you to capture header, footer, and static labels, as well as manage alternate label forms and visibility.

UI Components

  • Label List Grid:

    • Displays all Data Elements for the Document Type in a hierarchical list.
    • The first column shows the data element name; the second column shows the editable header label.
    • Child rows represent additional labels (e.g., static or footer labels) for each element, with editable values.
    • Inline editing is supported; Enter inserts a new line, Ctrl + Enter commits the edit.
    • Rows are visually styled to indicate label status (e.g., hit, miss, override, hidden).
  • Context Menu:

    • Right-click on a label or data element to access commands such as clear, copy, paste, and auto-map.
    • Menu options are context-sensitive and may include custom commands for label management.
  • Label Capture Tools:

    • Double-click a document to capture a label if it consists of a single text segment or is isolated in a box.
    • Use the rubberbanding tool (F4) to capture complex or multi-segment labels.
  • Visibility Controls:

    • Checkboxes allow you to control the visibility of data elements and their labels in the data model.
    • Visibility can be toggled for individual elements or in bulk.
  • Annotation and Preview:

    • When a label is selected, corresponding annotations are shown on the document preview, highlighting detected label regions.
    • Color coding indicates header, label, and selected states.

Usage Guidance

  1. Browse the list of Data Elements and review their associated labels.
  2. Edit label text directly in the grid; use Ctrl + Enter to commit changes.
  3. Use double-click or the rubberbanding tool (F4) to capture new labels from the document image.
  4. Use the context menu for advanced label management, such as clearing or auto-mapping labels.
  5. Adjust visibility as needed to control which elements participate in extraction and review.
  6. Review label annotations in the document preview to verify correct mapping.
