Remarks

The Content Type Documents tab provides a comprehensive interface for reviewing, searching, and managing all training documents associated with the selected Content Type and its descendant types. This control is designed for solution designers, trainers, and administrators who need to audit, curate, or analyze the set of documents used for training, testing, or validation of classification and extraction models.

Purpose

Use this tab to browse, filter, and review all Batch Folders (documents) classified under the current Content Type or any of its descendants. The interface supports efficient navigation, multi-selection, and document preview, making it ideal for training set management, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.

UI Components

  • Toolbar and Context Menu:

    • Provides commands for document operations such as view properties, copy, and delete.
    • Context menu commands are enabled or disabled based on the current selection and document state.
  • Document List:

    • Displays a paged, sortable, and filterable list of documents (as Batch Folders) for the selected content type and its descendants.
    • Supports multi-selection, keyboard navigation, and context menu commands.
    • Columns typically include document name, type, status, and other key properties.
  • Page Navigator:

    • Allows navigation between pages of results when the document set is large.
    • Displays the current page and total page count.
  • Document Viewer:

    • Shows the currently selected document in a flexible viewer, supporting images, text, PDFs, and more.
    • Provides page navigation, search, and viewer-specific actions.
  • Splitter Controls:

    • The layout uses resizable panels for the document list and viewer, allowing you to optimize your workspace.

Usage Guidance

  1. Use the document list to browse and select one or more training documents.
  2. Right-click or use the toolbar to access commands such as view properties, copy, or delete.
  3. Use the page navigator to move between result pages.
  4. Select a document to preview its content in the document viewer.
  5. Resize panels as needed for your workflow using the splitter.
