Batch Page - Prepend

Batch Page Command GrooperReview.BatchView

Prepend the selected pages or folders to the next document or folder in the Separation List.

Remarks

The Prepend command moves the selected Batch Pages or Batch Folders to become the first items of the next document or folder in the list. This is useful for reorganizing documents, correcting separation points, or moving pages to the beginning of another document.

Usage Guidance

  • Select one or more contiguous pages or folders in the Separation List.
  • Right-click and choose "Prepend" or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + N.
  • The selected items will be moved to the start of the next document or folder, and their classification and page numbering will be updated.
  • If the next sibling is a document, the selected pages are prepended and renumbered as the first pages.
  • If the next sibling is a folder, the selected items (including all pages in a folder) are moved to the beginning of that folder.
  • The command is only enabled when the selection is contiguous and the next sibling is a valid target.

Interactive Behavior

  • The UI reflects the new document structure and page order immediately.
  • Undo/redo is supported for this operation.

When to Use

  • To move pages to the beginning of a document.
  • To correct grouping or order after import or separation.
  • To prepare documents for review or downstream processing.
