Mail Export

• When enabled, the export operation will use the folder path from the original Mail Link on the Batch Folder.
• The Batch Folder must have an existing Mail Link for this feature to work.
• If disabled, the 'Target Folder' property is used.

Example:
Enable to re-export messages to their original mail folder after processing.

• Specify the destination folder on the mail server where messages will be appended.
• If 'Export to Original Path' is enabled, this property is ignored.
• Use the folder browser to select from available folders on the server.

Example:
Inbox/Processed or Archive/2024

The 'Link Name' property determines the label assigned to the Content Link created during export.

• This name is used to identify the exported content link on the Batch Folder or document.
• If not set, a default value such as "Export" is typically used.
• You can use different link names to distinguish between multiple export destinations or export runs.
• The link name appears in the Grooper UI and can be referenced in downstream activities or scripts.

Example:

• Set 'Link Name' to "CMIS Export" to clearly indicate that the link references a CMIS Repository export.
• Use different names like "Archive Export" or "Cloud Export" if exporting to multiple systems.

<em>Tip: Use a descriptive link name to make it easier for users and automation to identify the correct exported content, especially when multiple links are present on a Batch Folder.</em>

• Enter the DNS name or IP address of the mail server to connect to.
• This is required for establishing a connection to the IMAP server.

Example:
imap.example.com or 192.168.1.100

• Enable this option to use a secure (encrypted) connection to the IMAP server.
• Most modern mail servers require SSL for security.
• The default port for SSL-enabled IMAP is 993.

Example:
Set to true for secure connections.

• The default port for SSL-enabled IMAP is 993.
• The default port for non-SSL IMAP is 143.
• Change this value only if your mail server uses a custom port.

Example:
Use 993 for SSL, 143 for non-SSL.

• Enter the account name for authentication.
• The domain name may be required (e.g., domain\\username).
• This is required for accessing mailboxes and folders.

Example:
user@example.com or domain\\grooperdemo

• Enter the password for the specified user account.
• The password is stored securely and not displayed in the UI.
• Required for authentication.

• Use this property to export to a mailbox other than the default for the user.
• If left blank, the user's default mailbox will be used.
• Not all IMAP servers support access to multiple mailboxes.
