Solarize

Solarize Command IP Command Grooper.IP

Applies a classic "solarize" effect to an image by adjusting the tonal curves.

Remarks

The Solarize command transforms an image by inverting pixel values above a certain threshold, creating a dramatic, high-contrast effect often used in artistic or creative imaging. This process can highlight features, add visual interest, or simulate photographic solarization techniques.

  • The command analyzes the tonal range of the image and inverts pixels that exceed a specific intensity, producing a distinctive look.
  • The region of the image to be processed can be restricted using the 'Region Of Interest' property.

Supported Pixel Formats

The Solarize command supports 8-bit grayscale, 24-bit RGB, and 32-bit ARGB images. Other pixel formats are not modified.
