Invert

The 'Threshold' property determines how dark an image must be before inversion is applied. The value is a percentage (0 to 1):

• A value of 0 will invert every image, regardless of content.
• A value of 1 will only invert images that are completely black.
• Typical values (e.g., 0.7) ensure that only images with a majority of black pixels are inverted.

Use this property to prevent unnecessary inversion of images that are already in the correct orientation.

Can be one of the following types:

The 'Binarization' property allows you to specify a Binarize command that will be applied to the image before determining whether inversion is needed. This is useful for images with uneven lighting, color backgrounds, or grayscale content.

• If set, the image is first converted to black and white using the specified binarization method.
• If not set, the image is analyzed in its original form (or converted to grayscale if needed).

Example: Use a binarization method with adaptive thresholding to handle documents with variable backgrounds.

The 'Amount' property controls the strength of the inversion effect:

• A value of 0 leaves the image unchanged.
• A value of 1 fully inverts the image.
• Intermediate values (e.g., 0.5) blend the original and inverted images, producing a gray or partially inverted effect.

Use this property to fine-tune the visual result or to create special effects.

The 'Command Type Name' property shows the user-friendly name of the IP Command as it appears in the Grooper UI. This helps users identify which command is being configured or executed, especially when working with IP Profiles containing multiple commands.

This property is read-only and is automatically set based on the command's type.

The 'Supported Pixel Formats' property lists the image pixel formats that the IP Command can process. If an image does not match one of these formats, the command will be skipped for that image.

• By default, all pixel formats are supported unless a derived command restricts this list.
• Example formats include Pixel8bppGrayscale, Pixel24bppBgr, and Pixel1bppIndexed.

Use this property to verify compatibility when building IP Profiles or troubleshooting why a command did not execute.
