Stats Query

• Used to identify the query in lists and selection dialogs.
• The name should be unique and descriptive of the query's purpose or scope.

• Use this property to provide additional context or notes about the query's intent, filters, or usage.
• The description is shown in the query's properties and can help document reporting requirements.

Can be one of the following values:

• Choose from predefined periods (such as Today, Last Month, Year-To-Date) or select Custom to specify exact dates.
• For Older Than or Newer Than, set the 'Age' property to define the reference interval.

• Used only when 'Time Frame' is set to Older Than or Newer Than.
• Enter a value such as 2.00:00:00 for 2 days, or 12:00:00 for 12 hours.
• The format is days.hh:mm:ss.

• Only used when 'Time Frame' is set to Custom.
• Defines the earliest session start time to include in the results.

• Only used when 'Time Frame' is set to Custom.
• Defines the latest session start time to include in the results.

• This value is determined automatically from the 'Time Frame' and related properties.
• Used internally to filter sessions by start time.

• This value is determined automatically from the 'Time Frame' and related properties.
• Used internally to filter sessions by end time.

• Select one or more process names to limit results to those processes.
• If no processes are selected, all processes are included.

• Select one or more step names to limit results to those steps.
• If no steps are selected, all steps are included.

• Select one or more activity names to limit results to those activities.
• If no activities are selected, all activities are included.

• Select one or more user names to limit results to those users.
• If no users are selected, all users are included.

• Select one or more machine names to limit results to those machines.
• If no machines are selected, all machines are included.

• Select one or more statistic names to limit results to those statistics.
• If no statistics are selected, all available statistics are included.

Can be one of the following values:

• Choose how results are grouped, such as by activity, step, process, user, machine, or time period.
• Grouping affects the organization and summary of the output.

When 'Transpose' is enabled, the report layout is rotated:

• Statistic names are shown as the main groups (rows), and the selected 'Group By' value appears as columns.
• This is useful for comparing multiple statistics side-by-side across each group value.
• When disabled, the report is grouped by the selected 'Group By' property, with statistics as columns.

Example

• If 'Group By' is set to User and 'Transpose' is enabled, each statistic (such as Tasks Processed, Errors, etc.) will be a row, and each user will be a column.
• If 'Transpose' is disabled, each user will be a row, and each statistic will be a column.

Use the 'Scale' property to adjust the units or magnitude of reported statistics.

• Set to a value greater than 1 to increase all numeric results (e.g., convert seconds to minutes by using 0.0167).
• Set to a value less than 1 to decrease all numeric results (e.g., convert bytes to kilobytes by using 0.001).
• The default value is 1, which leaves values unchanged.

Examples

• To display durations in hours instead of seconds, set 'Scale' to 0.0002778.
• To show counts as thousands, set 'Scale' to 0.001.

> [!NOTE] > The 'Scale' property does not affect statistics that represent time in hours (these are always reported as-is).

Enter a standard or custom .NET numeric format string to control how numbers are rendered.

• For standard formats, use codes like N0 (number, no decimals), N2 (number, two decimals), C (currency), or P0 (percent, no decimals).
• For custom formats, use patterns like #,##0.00 (thousands separator, two decimals) or 0.### (up to three decimals).

• N0 → 1,234
• N2 → 1,234.00
• #,##0.00 → 1,234.56
• 0.### → 1.2, 1.23, or 1.234
• P0 → 12%
