Textbox Widget

Selects which Data Fields or Data Columns this annotation applies to.

• Add one or more fields to target specific data elements.
• If left empty, the annotation will apply to all single-instance fields in the Document Type.
• Use this to visually highlight, annotate, or add widgets to specific fields.

Positive values increase the size of the annotation; negative values decrease it.

• Use to adjust the visual region of the annotation relative to the field's detected location.
• Useful for emphasizing or de-emphasizing the annotated area.

• When enabled, users can interact with or modify the annotation in compatible PDF viewers.
• Applies to interactive widgets and some visual annotations.

• Enable to ensure the annotation appears in printed output.
• Disable to make the annotation visible only on-screen.

Can be one of the following types:

Specifies the font family for text displayed in the Textbox Widget.

• Choose from standard PDF fonts (e.g., Helvetica, Times-Roman).
• Use to match organizational branding or improve readability.

Example:
Set to Helvetica for a clean, modern appearance.

Sets the size of the text in the Textbox Widget, in points.

• Adjust to ensure text fits within the annotation region and is easily readable.
• Typical values range from 8 to 16 points.

Example:
Set to 12 for standard document text size.

Controls whether the Textbox Widget can be edited by users in PDF viewers.

• Set to true to prevent editing and make the field display-only.
• Set to false to allow users to enter or modify text.

Example:
Enable for calculated or system-populated fields that should not be changed by end users.

Controls whether the Textbox Widget is added as a formal PDF form field.

• Set to true to include the widget in the PDF's form fields, enabling integration with PDF form processing tools.
• Set to false to render the widget visually only, without form field functionality.

Example:
Enable to allow data entry and export of form field values from the PDF.
