Search Page - View Properties

Displays properties of the currently-selected item.

Remarks

The View Properties command opens a property grid or details panel for the selected document or item in the search results.

Usage Guidance

• Use this command to view all available properties and metadata for a document or result item.
• Only enabled when a single item is selected.
• Available from the context menu or by clicking the associated button in the search results.

Interactive Behavior

• When executed, a modal dialog displays the full set of properties for the selected document.
• The dialog is read-only or editable depending on user permissions.

When to Use

• To review document metadata, field values, or configuration settings.
• To troubleshoot, audit, or validate document properties.
