Tree Viewer - View Properties

Displays properties of the currently-selected item.

Remarks

The View Properties command opens a detailed property dialog for the selected node in the Tree Viewer. This dialog displays all configurable properties, metadata, and status information for the item, allowing users to review and edit settings as needed.

Usage

• Activation:
  • Right-click a node and select "View Properties" from the context menu, or press F12.
• Selection:
  • Only available when a single node is selected.
• Dialog Features:
  • Properties are organized by category and may include descriptions, validation messages, and editors for complex types.
  • Changes made in the dialog are saved to the repository and reflected in the UI.

Accessibility

• Keyboard shortcut: F12.
• Screen reader support for property names and values.

Typical Scenarios

• Reviewing node metadata, such as name, type, and status.
• Editing configuration settings for folders, documents, batches, or other repository objects.
• Validating property values and resolving errors.
