Resource File - Rename

Renames the selected Resource File and its associated file in the File Store.

Remarks

Use this command to change the 'Name' of a Resource File. The new name must be unique within the parent Project or Folder.

• Renaming updates both the node's display name and the underlying file stored in the File Store.
• If the parent folder is sorted, the file will be reordered automatically after renaming.
• If a file with the specified name already exists in the same location, the operation will fail.

This command is available only when a single Resource File is selected and the parent is not read-only.
