Project - Remove Empty Subfolders

Project Command Grooper

Deletes all empty subfolders within the Project.

Remarks

The Remove Empty Subfolders command scans all immediate child folders of the Project and deletes those that do not contain any items.

Purpose

  • Helps keep the Project structure clean by removing unused or placeholder folders.
  • Useful after reorganizing resources or importing/exporting content, which may leave behind empty folders.

How It Works

  • The command iterates through all child folders of the Project.
  • Any folder that does not contain child nodes (i.e., is empty) is deleted.
  • Only empty folders are affected; folders containing any items are preserved.

Safety

  • No content is lost: only folders with no children are deleted.
  • The operation is non-destructive to any resources or configuration objects.
