PDFAComplianceLevels

Specifies the level of PDF/A compliance to use when generating a PDF document.

Remarks

The PDF/A Compliance Levels enum controls whether exported PDF files conform to the PDF/A standard for long-term archiving.

• Set using the 'PDFA Compliance' property of PDF Format.
• PDF/A ensures reliable reproduction of a document's visual appearance and restricts certain features to promote archival stability.

> Note:
> PDF/A-1b compliance may restrict some PDF features (such as encryption or certain annotations) and may not be compatible with all build options (for example, 'Linearized').

Can be one of the following values:

Name	Value		Description
None	0	►	Generate a standard PDF. No PDF/A compliance is enforced. Use this option for general-purpose PDF output where long-term archiving is not required. All standard PDF features are available.
Level_1B	1	►	Level 1 Basic Conformance. Enforces standards which ensure reliable reproduction of a document's visual appearance. PDF/A-1b (Level 1 Basic) compliance is enforced. Ensures the PDF meets requirements for long-term preservation and visual fidelity. Restricts certain features (such as encryption, external content, and some annotations) to promote archival stability. Required for workflows subject to regulatory or archival mandates.
