PST File - Burst

When true, child documents are created as links to messages inside the PST file, without extracting the full message content. When false, each message is fully extracted and saved as a .eml file in the batch.

• Enable sparse mode for faster import and reduced storage when you do not need to immediately extract message content.
• Disable sparse mode to extract and persist the full content of each message for downstream processing or export.

When true, the batch will replicate the folder hierarchy from the PST file, creating subfolders as needed. When false, all messages are imported as direct children of the root batch folder, regardless of their original folder in the PST.

• Enable to preserve the original organization of messages for review or compliance scenarios.
• Disable to flatten all messages for simplified processing or classification.

If specified, only messages from folder paths matching the regular expression will be imported.

• Use to limit extraction to specific folders (e.g., "Inbox", "Sent Items") or to exclude unwanted folders.
• Leave blank to import messages from all folders.
• The filter is applied to the full folder path as represented in the PST file.
