vCard - Expand Photo

Extracts the embedded photo from the vCard (if available) and saves it as a child document under the Batch Folder.

Remarks

The Expand Photo command checks for an embedded photo in the vCard (PHOTO property) and, if present, creates a new child Batch Folder containing the extracted image.

• The photo is saved as a JPEG file named Photo.jpg and attached to the new child folder.
• This enables downstream processing, review, or export of contact photos alongside other vCard data.
• If no photo is present in the vCard, the command does nothing.

Usage Notes

• Use this command to extract and manage contact photos from vCard files in batch workflows.
• The extracted photo can be further processed, classified, or exported using standard Grooper activities.
• Combine with Content Type and Data Model configuration to associate photo data with contact records.
