SFTP Link - Load Content

SFTP Link Command Grooper.Messaging

Loads the linked file from the SFTP server and stores it locally as the attachment for the Batch Folder.

Remarks

The Load Content command retrieves the file referenced by the SFTP Link from the remote SFTP server and imports it as the native attachment for the associated Batch Folder. This operation is typically used to bring external content into Grooper for processing, review, or archival.

When executed, the command establishes a secure connection to the SFTP server using the configured connection properties, streams the file content, and attaches it to the Batch Folder. The database is updated to reflect the new attachment.

Usage Guidance

  • Use this command to import or refresh the native document version from the external SFTP location.
  • This is especially useful in sparse import scenarios, where only a link is initially stored and content is loaded on demand.
  • After loading, the document can be processed, extracted, or exported using standard Grooper activities.

The command is available from the context menu of the SFTP Link and can be executed manually or as part of an automated workflow.
