Mail Link - Delete Message

Mail Link Command Grooper.Messaging

Delete the linked Mail server object from the mail server.

Remarks

The Delete Message command permanently removes the referenced email message from the IMAP server. This operation is irreversible and should be used with caution, as it will also remove the Mail Link from the associated Batch Folder.

Use this command to clean up messages that have been processed, archived, or are no longer needed. Deleting the message ensures that it cannot be re-imported or referenced in future workflows.

Usage Guidance

  • Only use this command when you are certain the message is no longer required.
  • After deletion, the Mail Link is removed from the Batch Folder, and the message is expunged from the server.
  • This command is useful for maintaining mailbox hygiene and ensuring compliance with retention policies.
