Image Skewer

Sets the largest possible angle (in degrees) by which the image may be rotated. The actual skew angle is chosen randomly between -Maximum Skew and +Maximum Skew.

• Use to control the severity of simulated misalignment.

Example:
To allow up to 2 degrees of skew, set 'Maximum Skew' to 2.0.

Determines whether the image canvas should be expanded to fit the entire rotated image, preventing clipping of corners. If false, the image is rotated in place and may be cropped.

• Set to true to preserve all content after rotation.
• Set to false to keep the original image size.

Example:
To avoid losing any part of the image, enable 'Resize'.

Specifies the likelihood (from 0.0 to 1.0) that this defect generator will be executed for a given image. A value of 1.0 means the defect is always applied; 0.0 means it is never applied.

• Use to control the frequency of simulated defects in your test set.
• Typical values are 0.5 (50% chance) or 1.0 (always).

Example:
To apply noise to half of your test images, set 'Defect Probability' to 0.5.
