Node - Move Up

Moves the selected Node or nodes up one position within their parent container.

Overview

The Move Up command shifts the selected node(s) up by one position among their siblings in the parent Node.

• Only available when the parent node is not read-only, not sorted, and the selected node is not already the first child.
• Multiple nodes can be moved up together, maintaining their relative order.

Usage

Use this command to manually reorder items within a Folder, Project, or other container node.

• Useful for organizing configuration objects, fields, or other items in a custom order.
• The new order is saved immediately after the move.
